Case # 2400

This patient suffered from an extremely deep and long frown line, slightly asymmetric on her left side. Dr. Weintraub completely erased the line using Botox and multi-level injections of Radiesse and Juvederm to achieve this exceedingly satisfying result.

Case # 2401

The three most common areas in which to have Botox are the frowns, the horizontal forehead furrows, and the crows’ feet; however, other sophisticated uses include the platysmal bands of the neck, the “bunny lines” (wrinkles on the sides of the nose), the lipstick lines of the upper lip, the depressor muscles of the mouth that cause the lips to be downturned, and the masseter muscle of the jaw. This patient, like many Asian patients, disliked the width of her jaw. Dr. Weintraub injected Botox into the masseter muscle (upper jaw area) to narrow her facial width and to bring greater femininity to her face.

Case # 2402

This patient disliked the “angry elevens” of his frown lines. By injecting Botox to specific anatomical points, Dr. Weintraub can eliminate the frowns. It is extremely important to know the exact anatomical points to inject. This is one of the benefits of seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon to personally ensure that the Botox will not cause a “downed brow,” droopy eyelids, or other unwanted effects.

Case # 2403

This patient wanted fuller lips and chose to have Dr. Weintraub use a hyaluronic-acid filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. It is of the utmost importance to never overfill or distort the lips, but rather, to create subtle volume that whispers yet doesn’t shout.
