Ears

Case # 3201

This patient’s ears were highly protrusive, causing him to be self-conscious from the time he was a child. Dr Weintraub performed an optoplasty from behind the ear, allowing the patient to wear the short haircut he preferred.

Case # 3202

When Dr. Weintraub performs an otoplasty, he hides the incision behind the ear – specifically, in the crease line where the ear meets the head. Dr. Weintraub uses a series of complex, adjustable sutures to ensure that the ears are set perfectly on each side. This surgery can be performed on young patients as well, after the age of six.
